"We use the precision of the compass to anchor the chaos of the mind, ensuring the hands lead the head to find the quiet of the heart."
My journey began with a deeply personal understanding of Asynchrony—the fundamental disconnect that occurs when the intellect (Head) outpaces emotional management (Heart) and practical skills (Hands). I have experienced this dissonance firsthand, living a "Hoofd-heavy life" where existence is felt predominantly 100% in the head, often leading to anxiety and a sense of being out of sync with the world.
As an ECHA-specialist in Gifted Education and the founder of Arché, my mission is to provide the holistic development that complex minds require by achieving the integration of Mind, Heart, and Hands.
Geosofía (Wisdom of Form) is not a traditional art class, but the practical application of the Arché philosophy through Sacred Geometry. I believe that the potential for personal growth lies in self-knowledge.
The physical act of construction with precision tools (Hands) is the key to this process: it forces neuro-regulation and brings order to a hyperactive mind. By focusing on universal patterns, we can lift concrete, everyday thoughts into the realm of abstract mathematical thinking, creating a profound sense of inner stillness.
In our workshops, we create a synthesis of art, science, and wisdom. As your guide, I help you navigate this triad:
• Head (Philosophy): We discuss the symbolic meaning and hidden wisdom of forms, such as the duality of the Yin-Yang.
• Hands (Construction): Through discipline and precision, we anchor the mind and activate focus.
• Heart (Harmony): Through creative expression, we seek emotional processing, connecting with the "true self" and finding Zingeving (Meaning).
Whether you are a "Seeker" grappling with philosophical questions, facing burnout, or simply looking for inner order, I invite you to join me in the center of Haarlem to rediscover harmony through geometry.
